Subject: Transcript Letter

Dear Sir

With due respect, I state that I have completed my majors in education from your college and now I need to receive a transcript. Along with this application, USD 10 has been drafted. I studied from 2005 to 2009 batch of Computer Science.

I would like to add more information about myself that I have received my degree on July 21st. I applied for higher studies, so I need to get that transcript as soon as possible. My roll number was 230 and my social security number is 577-64-1920. My date of birth is 10th April 1989.

Hence I hope that your honor would be kind enough to send the transcript to the following address below:

2573 Hickory Lane

Beltsville, DC 20705

The concerned authority wishes to receive the transcript directly from you. So I request you to send this before November 25, 2010.

Thanking you in advance

Yours Sincerely

Amy R. Mejia

Subject:  Request for scholarship

Dear Sir,

It is with great hope that I am penning this request letter to you. I am an honest citizen of this great country and I want to contribute to the growth of the nation in my very small way. But, my dreams are being threatened by my abject poverty. I was born in poverty but somehow went through primary school and college with the help of scholarships.

The scholarship helped me through my school days and I made the optimum use of the scholarship and always led my class. I finished my secondary school with distinctions in all subjects. In addition I was engaged in extracurricular activities in which I was able to win many medals and awards.

From my childhood days I have been dreaming to study Medicine and Surgery at one of the top national universities. It is with this intention that I approach your organization with my humble request for scholarship. I am relying on your goodwill to fulfill my dream.

Thanking you in anticipation for a favorable response from you.

Yours truly,

Mark Spenser

Dear Helen:

I’m the author of Last Minute Meetings, a book I hope you’ll consider for possible inclusion in your catalog and offerings. Last Minute Meetings provides numerous up-to-date resources and ideas to help plan a meeting — quickly, if need be, and on budget.

This book would be an excellent fit with your current offerings. For people new to the industry, it explains in simple language the details involved in planning a successful event — giving lots of real-life examples and forms. Industry veterans can use the book as a resource guide to find vendors as well as definitive “best sources”.

I have enclosed a review copy. Last Minute Meetings is published by Career Press (Franklin Lakes, NJ; December 2000) and retails for $11.99. I’ve included a few recent book reviews as well as a brief bio.

I look forward to the possibility of working together to bring this book into your offering.

Regards.
Fern Dickey, CMP
